Educação do eleitorado brasileiro
Nunca antes na história desse país o eleitorado foi tão educado quanto será nas eleições deste ano. Uma importante transformação estrutural no eleitorado brasileiro na últimas décadas é a elevação do nível educacional dos eleitores. Como só maiores de 16 anos podem votar, o efeito da universalização do ensino básico ocorrida nos anos 1990 foi observado no eleitorado com alguma defasagem. Em 2000, 65% dos eleitores tinham menos do que o Ensino Fundamental Completo. Este ano, menos de uma geração depois, 75% dos brasileiros têm, ao menos, o Ensino Fundamental completo.

últimos dez anos, os governos estaduais viveram uma espécie de “boom” das
receitas. De 2004 a 2015, a arrecadação cresceu, em média, 41% acima da
inflação – o que significou uma receita extra de R$ 170 bilhões, segundo estudo
realizado pela consultoria Macroplan. Ocorre que as despesas avançaram mais:
50% acima da inflação. E o endividamento foi além: após um período sob
controle, disparou e fechou 2015 em R$ 653 bilhões (veja gráfico). “Os Estados
