Teoria macroeconômica

The problem with the macroeconomy - from Keynes onwards - is that, as Robert Solow pointed out - who hardly anyone would consider influenced by the Austrian paradigm after stating in an interview that considered Hayek's arguments completely incomprehensible-lacks real connection between the short and the long run. The absence of coherent micro-economic anchor is the key to the problem, as has been evidenced in sterile attempts to develop this anchor within the dominant macro-economic paradigm, which have ended up sacrificing the applicability of theory to retain some rigidity.
